In this work shop we got inducted onto the Sony EX3 camera. This camera has several added fetures such as
- Slow motion/Speed Up
- Detachable Lenses
- Hidden viewing screen
- Samurai Blade
The camera worked like most other cameras we have used how ever this camera had its own storage cards which the camera wouldn't work with unless it was in it.

The camera also came with a new toy called the samurai blade, this was not only an external monitor but also an extra hard drive meaning footage could be recored straight onto it. This is great for our group as it means everyone who needs to ( Mainly director + dop ) can watch the footage with out us all huddling around the camera. As it allows play back from the device it means we can go through and remover takes we do not want to use straight from the device before uploading to the editing software.
