Here is a summary of what team underwater and shizz have been upto
so we had a group skype meeting to come up with a beginning middle and end for what we wanted to see in our dance which we then boiled down to this
Dance concept
Last moments
- the things he sees and the feelings before death
- she is and angle floating
- he is captivated by her

Start 1 min long
- both dancers crash into the water, tumbleing and stubling over each other
- they look like they are struggeling to breath and seem like they are trying to escape something
- all though apart there movemnts are in syc
- slightly frantic but very fluid and floaty not rigidl
- the girl dancers struggle becomes less as if she is weaken
- they both end up in the center of the screen where she falls/ floats onto his arms

middle – 2/3 mins
- the dance slows down and stops being so frantic but more intmate
- they use each others bodys in a romatic payfull way \
- fluid/soft movemnts
- cant let go of each other allways in contact
- he moves her hair out of her face and strokes her face
- lots of eye contact when can
- intimate
- like he has seen an angle

end – 1 min
- the dance comes to a complete halt gradually
- the couple are some how interlocked together as if they are one ( he is now an angle to [he is dead])

we then went to see tim savage as i mentioned and assigned our self job rolls, this way we could devided the pre production tasks up to what suited which job roll better
Kat is producing
molly is directing
i am DOP
lauren is editier
as lauren is editor she said she was willing to help out with production and direction so she is assisting them.
kat then wrote a google doc of everything that needed doing who was to do them and when it needed to be done by.
we then had a tutorial with rachel, she said we needed to find dancers asap and pointed us in the right direction and she agreed that we needed to do testing of weither we are in or out of a studio so we could focus on what kind of dance we are doing.
Kat then found us a sound track online and i also found us a musican from ACM but im going to give that its own post so stay tuned for that.
we then go together in person for another meeting as we felt in person is much better way of doing things that on facebook or email.
rang pools put a call out for dancers , ate, cried , lied down for a while and contemplated what i am doing with my life.
we then booked the only studio left in the uni and got some equipment booked ready to do some test this week.
we then heard back from 4 dancers but all female so we then decided if we had to film it with two girls it wouldnt really be an issue :)
And now were here sorting out auditions and getting things booked out and read to roll.
I am now currently right this second, trying to think of ways to make the camera movement more interesting than static shots of close up to wide to mid to wide
I found this book and dvd in the library which i am going to get out as i think it will be rally helpfull to generate some ideas
I am also planning to book a tutorial with vicky this week as her lecture is about camera and bodies so will probably give us some ideas to talk about.
i also just downloaded a clapper board app to my tablet so that will be nice to use rather than clapping my hands in front of the camera like we have had to do before.
