Beyond the boundaries - Insparation

Over the summer i have been looking at films, artists and various other things that have helped influence this idea here is some of the inspiration for this film and how it  will be used.


Pulp  - I love the bands style  and meanings behind there songs we are going to manipulate some the themes on the songs to create the structure of our story. I would have to look more into copy right but it would be nice to use some of the lyrics from there songs in our film as they are very whitty.

the introduction music to this song also helped us come up with the main female character as it gives off a fem fetal powerful vibe.



Filth and trainspotting -  These are two films written by irven walsh and the grungy style is something we want to carry over into our film, the naration is similar to how i imiagin the naration in ours to be

serise of unfortunate event, edward scisor hands, big fish- these films have there own unique style that create quite a timeless vibe and is a similar style to how we want our sets and cosutme to look

it would be interesting to try and make the walls pulsate like in this video to create a dark surreal atmosphere

after hours is a black comedy from the 80s and it would be good to get the kind of whit and pasing they use in this film

i have also been listening to interviews with jarvis cocker and reading books about his lyrics and it would be nice to get the same kind of character that he has.
