Maps and journeys - Business cards

When presenting our piece we wanted to suggest that the piece was about near death experiences with out saying it. We was originally thinking of displaying it like it was a shrine / memorial to some one by placing flowers and candles everywhere, how ever we though this would look to tacky and over the top so we decided to go with something simple and create a business card to put next to the box.

We wanted to go with a funereal directors business card or design them to look like a plaque saying 'in memory of'  with a link to a blog post that explains the box. This way it would subtle say the piece is about death but also provided them more information if they need it.

Most funereal business cards  we looked at contained pictures of doves, angles or crosses so we used this as inspiration to come up with ours.

these are just begining of ideas so they arent very good at the moment, but we are thinking to keep the designs as simple and clean as possible like this one , we are going to work on more designs before we are assessed on the piece and then bring a few of our favourites to put next to it and get peoples opinions on the best one to use in the gallery
