PTK - Studio shoot - Dry workshop induction

During this workshop jim casey, the technical tutor of the dry work shop showed us how to use all the equipment to the correct safety standards. The equipment we used will come in handy when it comes to building sets and props for our shoot. Some of the equipment he showed us includes, the electrical sanders, the pliar drill , the jigsaw and the band saw as well as hand held devices such as drills and glue guns.
Once we put on our safety glasses and apron jim set us a task to do to see if we could work the equipment.  He asked us to cut a shape into a piece of wood and then sand it down this made sure we had the basic knowlage of all the equipment. All though i didn't cut the circular part out very well over all it was pretty easy to do and will be very helpful especially with my maps and journeys project.
